How it works

How to convert an image

  1. Choose your files

Drag them into the box, pick them on your device or paste one with Ctrl+V. HEIC, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and JPG all work.

  2. Choose the new format

JPG for photos that must open everywhere, PNG for logos and screenshots, WebP or AVIF for a website.

  3. Download

Download each file on its own or all together as a ZIP. The name stays the same, only the extension changes.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert an iPhone photo (HEIC) to JPG?

Drag the HEIC photos in here and choose JPG. Your browser converts them on your own device. Your iPhone can also make JPG straight away: Settings, Camera, Formats, “Most Compatible”.

What happens to transparent parts?

PNG, WebP and AVIF keep transparency. JPG cannot: there, transparent parts get the background colour you choose, white by default.

Is quality lost?

Not to PNG, which is lossless. To JPG, WebP or AVIF a little, depending on the quality you choose. If a photo is already in the chosen format, we leave it as it is.
